THS is very honored to have recorded, as its first presentation of 2019, Tony McNichol, Archaeologist and Cultural Resources Planner with the Pinelands Commission. Mr. McNichols spoke about the history of indian tribes in our region with a presentation entitled “Removed From Their Natural Ways: The First Indian Reservation at Brotherton, Burlington County.” This presentation discussed the 1758 establishment (and subsequent dissolution) of the Brotherton Reservation, a prominent local indian tribe. This presentation was originally given by Mr. McNichol on October 10, 2019 during the monthly THS meeting. Due to its length at 1-1/2 hours it is divided into 3 parts.
